Many excel users use cut, copy & paste option for moving columns & rows. This is very tedious process. Here is the quick & short process :
Select the columns/rows you want to move.
Move your mouse pointer to the edge of the selection until mouse pointer changes from the white cross sign to an arrow pointer.
Now Hold down both SHIFT key & left mouse button and drag the columns/row to new position where you want to place them, you'll see insertion bar between the two columns/row you are pointing to.
Release the mouse button first but be careful, don't release the shift key before left mouse button.
